He was predeceased by: his wives, Julia and Joan; and his children, Julie Ann and David. He is survived by: his sons, John III (Susan) and William (Joyce); his grandchildren, Jennifer Vaughn (Bryan), John (Kali), Robert (Christina), Alexandra and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Julia, Bailey, Cole, Rylie, Corina and Remi; and his sisters, Betty and Anna Mae.

Family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, 44197.
