He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Piai and John Piai. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Piai; his son Tim (Dara Krueger); his stepchildren, Sunny Lurie (Ken) and Judy Eskin (Robert); his grandchildren, Andy, Wesley, Fiona, Ryan, Sara, Lauren and Leigh; his great grandchildren, Eva, Zoe, Melanie and Lydia; and his sister Joanne Shannon (William).
In lieu of flowers, donations are strongly suggested in John's memory to the Chagrin Falls Alumni Association (CFAA), 400 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.
