He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elaine Maureen Dee; his daughter Sheena Dee Pauley (Glen); his grandchildren, Joelle Pauley Fine (Steve) and Doyle Cockrell (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Alexandra Fine, Kayla, Lauren and Morgan Cockrell; his parents, James Wallace Dee and Barbara Dee (Falkous); his sibling-in-law Terry McKie (Eileen); his cousins, George Robinson, Kathleen, Jim Hyland, Paddy Robinson, Sean Robinson (Marie), Judy and Eamon; his nieces and nephews, Stewart Dee (Pat), Victor (Ann), Beverly Morris, Jimmy Hyland (Esther), Ray Hyland Breffini (Joanne), Nollaig Kenna Patrick (PJ), Clare Ryan (Patrick), Anthony McKie, Ed, Sean and Maureen Robinson; his daughter Elaine; and his son-in-law Glen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's name to support cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic.
