He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia; his parents, George Christie and Margaret Christie (Schaffer); and his siblings, William (Jeanne), Michael, Mary Jane Scanlon, Timothy (Nancy), Catherine McKinley (Mike) and Jack Scanlon (Beth). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
