He is survived by: his wife Paula Mattis (Johnson); his children, Kimberly Reingold (Matthew) of Sharon, Mass., William Mattis (D'Arcy) of Chapel Hill, N. C. and Kelly Cooper (Jason) of Muskegon, Mich.; his sister Helen C. Mattis of Palm Coast, Fla.; his grandchildren, Elijah, Abigail, Benjamin, Zachary, London, Stone and Charlotte; and his caregivers, Danielle, Roz and Willie.
