He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth and James; his brother James; and his nephew Patrick Walsh. He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Gehring); his children, Maureen Zavakos (Louis) and Michael; his sister Susie Holden; and his granddaughters, Christine and Rachel Zavakos.
