It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Althoff of Centerville, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack L. Moore and Miriam E. Moore; her husband William E. Althoff; her brother Gary E. Moore; her children, Carl Arthur McGowan, II, MaryAnn McGowan of Hico, WV and Mike; her daughter-in-law Tracy McGowan of Centerville; her brother James V. Moore (Pam) of Centerville; her grandchildren, TJ Hall, Benny McGowan, Mikayala McGowan and Josh McGowan; and her great grandchild Jaxon Hall. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
