She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Saettel (Bud) and Helen Saettel (Scholl); her husband Benjamin Chong; her stepmother Edora Saettel; her son Patrick; her grandparents, John and Laura Scholl; her uncle Dr. Leo; and her aunt Charlotte Hoersting.
She is survived by: her sons, David Chong (Diane) and Michael Chong (Mary Ann); her granddaughters, Nicole, Michelle and Maura Chong; her half-siblings, Clayton (Bud), Harry Saettel and Virginia Saettel; and her stepsister Kay Lehman. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
