He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Soehner and Geneva Soehner (Schroll); his wife Nancy Soehner; his parents-in-law, George and Kathryn Lewis; his brother Paul Soehner; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Krapf, David Hughes and George Lewis.

He is survived by: his sons, Todd Soehner (Julia), Scott Soehner and Chad Soehner (Joanna); his grandchildren, Madison, Nick, Jack and Adam Soehner; his sisters, Margaret Krapf, Barbara Hughes and Geneva Rank (Tim); his siblings-in-law, Joanne Soehner and Chris Lewis (Theresa); and his close friend Carol Hammond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
