He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn J. Guise; his parents, Joe S. Guise and Edna B. Guise; his sister Kathryn J. Guise; his son Kevin S. Guise; and his great grandchild Asa L. Merl.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela A. Merl and Peter K. Guise. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
