He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thobaben and Edna Thobaben (Pratt); his wife Janet Thobaben; and his sisters, Daphne Day (Don) and Hallie Miller (Russ).
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Thobaben, Jr. (Terri) and Thomas C. Thobaben (Roxanne); and his grandchildren, Cordt (Carolyn), Eric (Pam Olenik), Amy Spurr (Ethan), Chris Thobaben (Jackie), Nathan Thobaben (Brighton Hutton), Zebulon Thobaben (Anne Wilson), Ezra Thobaben and Harmony Thompson (David). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Centerville Library or the Centerville Historical Society.
