Robert Alig Obituary

We bid farewell to Robert Alig (Centerville, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 14, 2024 at the age of 88. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper "Leo" Alig and Ernestine Alig; his daughter Ann Shimek (Joseph); and his sister-in-law Carol Alig. He is survived by: his wife Helen Mary Alig; his children, Mary Houston, Catherine Cybriwsky, Robert J. Alig, Charles Alig, Thomas Alig (Laura) and Daniel Alig (Jenine); and his brothers, Bernard "Ben" Alig and Boyd Alig (Pamela). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Leonard (8100 Clyo Rd, Centerville, OH 45458). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Dr, Dayton, OH 45409).
