He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. and Mary L. Benson (Porter); and his brothers, Robert J. Benson and Marvin C. Benson. He is survived by: his former wife Judith A. "Judy" Benson (West); and his children, Brenda Benson, Earl Benson and Robert Benson (Kim). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
