He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Mary Jean Matson; and his brother Clint Matson. He is survived by: his wife Lenorann Lewis Matson; his brother Gale Matson (Cindy); his sister-in-law Leila Matson; his niece Lois Reed (John); his nephew Lance Matson (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Tyler Reed, Rachel Reed (Joshua Vincent), Justin Reed and Lauren Watkins (Chad). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
