He was predeceased by: his son Larry; his wife Ruth Meyers (Lillian); his parents, Joseph Meyers and Gertrude Meyers; and his sisters, Arlene Wyngarden (Raymond), Henrietta Hamburg (Howard) and Wilma Veltema (Stanley).

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Henderson (Tom), Joe, Jim (Renee) and John (Natalia); and his grandchildren, Anne (Dillon), Bonnie, Patricia, Dave (Betty), Bill, Heather, Jeff (Amber), Mike (Kristy), Shan (Yenny) and Samuel.
