It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Brooks of Centerville, Ohio, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Babetta "Babs" Meade Brooks; his parents, Ernest Cecil Brooks and Hazel Paulette Brooks; his brothers, James Brooks (Vanita Brooks) of Louisville, KY and Richard Brooks (Marcella Brooks) of Louisville, KY.; his daughter Jill Brooks Lenning (Stuart Lenning); his grandchildren, Grace Lenning, Emily Lenning, Gunnar Lenning and Major Lenning; his daughter Corrie Brooks Carr (James Carr); and his grandchildren, Kendall Carr and Kaylee Carr.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas at 2101 Sardis Rd N STE 102A, Charlotte NC 28227.
