He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack W. Jr. Johnston and Donna F. Johnston (Beckett). He is survived by: his wife Tonya Johnston (Slaton); his daughters, Jodie Reed (Lance) and Jamie Feldner (Brad); his stepchildren, Heather Lilly, Julie Bioeder, Chris Blackburn and Cliff Decker (Ashley); his brother Jim Johnston; and his grandchildren, Parker, Conner Feldner of Peri Reed, A. J., Landon, Gregory Lilly and Jerry Blackburn. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Wounded Warrior Project in John's memory.
