With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Esselstein (Centerville, Ohio), born in Corning, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Adele and Molly; his son James David; his granddaughter Abigail Lynn Esselstein; and his siblings, George and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Battista (David), Ken Esselstein (Charlotte), Paul Esselstein (Kathy), David Esselstein (Monica), Brian Esselstein (Lisa), Mark Esselstein (Ann) and Robert Esselstein (Teresa); his grandchildren, Nathan, Adam Esselstein, Laura, Michael Esselstein, Ben (Christine), John Battista (Tonya), Beth Coots (Rodney), Gretchen, Matthew Esselstein, Katie Cain (Josh), Hilary Fenton (Jared), Rebecca, Andrew Esselstein (Amanda), Emerson Esselstein, Scott (Amanda) and Hill; and his great grandchildren, Rachel, Nina, Madeline, Rylie, Kate, Annabelle, Evelyn Battista, Julia, Laney, Michael Fenton and Haley Cain. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
