She was predeceased by: her husband Cal; her daughter Lisa; her parents, Orval Black and Viola Black; and her sister Pattie Black.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Underwood (Dale), Chris Niquette (Lisa), Cyndi Platt (Mark) and Mary Scott (Skip); and her brother Jerry Black (Sue). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grand-children.
