She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sims; her parents, Harold Jenks and Marie Jenks (Niehoff); and her siblings, Marie, Ruth, Pat, Jim and Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, David Sims (Judi), John Sims (Judy), Walt Sims (Deborah), Carol Ploss (Steve) and Richard Sims. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
