He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bubel and Eleanor Bubel. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Mahren; his children, Kaite Baldwin (Wes), Sheryln Smith (Jim) and James Matthew Mahren (Megan); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Clara, Eliza, Henry, Wendy, Kelsey, Michelle, Jack and John; and his sister Ellen Bubel.
