He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Emmons and Harry Emmons; and his brothers, Gerald and Eugene Emmons. He is survived by: his wife Lola Emmons (Hetzel); his children, Jennifer Karpinsky (Greg) and Jeff Emmons (Sara); his grandchildren, Ben, Kerry, Matthew Karpinsky, Grace and Ava Emmons; and his pet Whitney.
