She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Yates and Pirvous Yates; her husband Bernard "Benny" Ostendorf; her son Daniel "Dan" Ostendorf; and her siblings, Richard Yates Jr., Beverly Cochrane and Paul Yates.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Ostendorf and Kimberly Jordan; her grandchildren, Kassidi and Austin Jordan; her siblings, Barbara Yates, Arlene Howard (John), Darlene Stockstill (Dan) and Gary Yates (Donna); and her pet Boots. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, a large and wonderful extended family, and many good friends.
