It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Engel (Centerville, Ohio), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Elsie. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Engel of Columbus, OH, Kathy Laurnen (Mark) of Evergreen, CO and Bill; his daughter-in-law Lisa Engel of Dayton; his sons, Chris Engel of Dayton and Jim Engel of Dayton; his grandchildren, Jason (Dipali), Siobhan (Ivan), Dylan and Caitlin; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Mackenzie, Addison, Nikhil, Jae and Ishani. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that donations be made to the National Museum of the USAF or Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in lieu of flowers.
