We bid farewell to Gerald M. Hauer of Centerville, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 91. Gerald M. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Norma; his mother Ann (Servaites); his siblings, Marilyn Crotty (Hauer) and Don; and his father Michael Hauer.
He is survived by: his children, Shary Hauer of Clearwater Beach, FL, Michael Hauer (Nancy) of Louisville, KY, James (Kathleen), Dayton, William (Rhonda), Nancy Hauer (Greg Vogel), Patsy Engelhardt (Francisco) and San Diego; and his grandchildren, Tiffani Lykins (Mathew), Eric Hauer (Kassie), Holli Davis (Russ), Ashley Konnegan (Alan), Jacklyn Vietor (Eric) and Paulo Engelhardt. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home - Kettering (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Church (1322 Brown St, Dayton, OH 45409).
