He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. and Katherine H. Sontag, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, George R. Sontag, III (Lori), John Sontag (Denise) and Joan Sontag; his grandchildren, Dr. George R. IV, Matthew, Kathryn and Benjamin Sontag; his great grandchildren, Carley and Matthew Joseph Sontag; and his sisters, Barbara Trent (John) and Martha Jones.
