He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmidt and Eleanor Schmidt; his brother Jerome L. Schmidt; and his nephew Mike Schmidt. He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Davis and Paulette Trickey (James); his nieces and nephews, Anna Hedburg, Amber Meyer, Lyn Davis, Jerry Schmidt and Shane Trickey; and his sister-in-law Brenda Schmidt.
