Edward Junior Stephens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2025, at the age of 89, Edward Junior Stephens of Centerville, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Edward Junior departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward Junior. Though Edward Junior may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ocie Stephens; his parents, Riley Stephens and Opal Stephens; and his son-in-law Donald Shearer. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Shearer and Barry Stephens (Stephanie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairhaven Church (639 W Whipp Rd, Washington Township, OH 45459). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edward's memory may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
