He is survived by: his children, Karen Carpenter, William (Elaine), Keith (Suzi) and Greg (Delaine); his stepdaughter Brenda Weaver (Jeff); his grandchildren, Erin (Kiel), Eric, Samantha, Jessica, Elizabeth, Joshua, Sasha (Shawn) and Jennifer; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Massey, Cody Weaver, Mike Boyd, Thomas Boyd, Paige Weaver-Connor and Christina Weaver-Coulter; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Gianna, McKenzie, Kayden, Hope, Araya, Melody, Benjamin, Alexis, Joe, Jeremiah, Noah and Dakota; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Skiley, Liam, Riley B., Reagan, Riley C., Anthony, Mackenzie and Sumer; and his close friend Rose Perrone. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
