He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Meiring and Julia Meiring; his wife Patricia (Pat); and his siblings, Arnold Meiring, Bernard Meiring, William, Joseph, Verena Humenny, Lillian Wahrer, Ruth Gerlach and Esther Hoffpauir.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Julia Holloway, Barbara Brinegar, Marilyn Yelken, Sherrie Kurpiel, Vicky Becker and Lee Hester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter, Hospice of Dayton, or to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
