With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claudette Spanel of Centerville, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McDonald and Laura Grace McDonald (McDermott); her husband Peter; her son Joseph Spanel; and her grandson Benjamin Krafka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Rodgers (Aaron), Grace Ninneman (late Bill), Claudette Groeber (Mark), Angela Hall (Tim), Linda Krafka (Frank) and Patricia Krafka (Kent); and her daughter-in-law Linda Spanel. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
