He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Newpart Leis. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Kota (Mike) and Susan Thiele (Howard); his grandchildren, Megan Morris (Wade), Emily O'Rouke (Jason), Christopher Thiele (Katherine) and Elizabeth Novak (Patrick); and his great grandchildren, Jane, Annie, Eliza Morris, Paige Novak and Lucy Novak.
