He was predeceased by: his father Roy G. Thompson; his wife Karen Ann Lemme; and his siblings, Dennis and Charlene. He is survived by: his children, Bernie, Brian (Kim), Scott (Jenny Stein), Derek (Cyndi) and Sarah Hunter (Shaun); and his sister Carol. He is also survived by nine grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
