It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Frank Ortel of Centerville, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sr. Ortel and Charlotte Ortel (Gentile); his brother Tom; and his niece Therese. He is survived by : his wife Debbie; his son Greg (Nikki); his grandchildren, Alex, Ashley and Andrew Ortel; his siblings, Joe Ortel Jr. (Patty), David Ortel Sr. (Jennifer) and Christy Jo Ortel-Long (Sherman); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Ortel and Patricia Wakeley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel (5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409).
