He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his son Harold; and his siblings, Leora, Charles, Carl, Tom and Harry.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Barber of Centerburg, Reno "Jeff" Barber of Mount Vernon, Joe Barber of Mount Vernon, Susan Brown of Huntington, WV, Donald Barber of Centerburg and Jerry Barber of Centerburg; and his sisters, Helen Platt of Marengo and Ruth Snider of Delaware. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
