She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bivens and Essie Bivens (Pence); her husband Harold Strickland; and her brothers, Jimmy, Ronald and Rodney Bivens.
She is survived by: her children, H. Alan Strickland (Mary) and Trish Fulmer (Scott); and her grandchildren, Kearstin Fulmer (Dan Armstrong) and Jerod Fulmer (Kiley Harriman). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
