We bid farewell to Tyrone C. Shaner of Celina, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Tyrone touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Tyrone farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tyrone is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Shaner and Vera Shaner (Lusk); his wife Carol M. Shaner (Elsehowe); and his sister Barbara Ann Cramer. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Phil Cramer of Ottawa; and his stepsons, Gerald Rutledge (Jen) of York, John Rutledge of Fort Shawnee and Darren Rutledge of The Villages, Florida. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Cisco Funeral Home - Celina (6921 State Rte 703, Celina, OH 45822). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Mercer Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
