He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hammons and Betty Hammons (Meyers); and his significant other Connie Gray. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Hammons, Jr. (Donna) of Wichita Falls, Texas, Rhonda Hammons of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jennifer Hammons Henkle of Celina, Ohio. and Christopher Hammons (Andrea) of Celina, Ohio.; and his sister Linda Marvin (Jerry) of Sidney, Ohio. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Democratic Party, the Mercer County Civic Foundation, or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
