He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwegian and Belle Skromme (Holmedal); his wife Margie Mae O'Neal; his son Wayne Skromme; and his siblings, Lawrence Skromme (Margaret), Arnold Skromme (Lois), Austin Skromme (Jane), Judith Beaty (Harold) and Margaret Thompson (Robert).
He is survived by: his children, Allan Skromme of Boulder, CO, Janet McGill of St. Louis, MO, David Skromme of San Mateo, CA and Linda Alders of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
