She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Schell and Marie Schell (Nau); her husband James Birt; her siblings, Delores Schafer of Caldwell and Clyde Shell Jr. of Chandlersville; and her son-in-law Steve Sutter.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Birt of Celina, Bevery (Joe Sutter), Deborah (Bruce Campbell), Vickie Hottes (David Conn) and Sandy Sutter of Celina, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Jason Sutter, Amy Moody, Amanda Moffitt, David Bruns, Shawn Sutter, Jennifer Tuggle, Billie Jo Hiles, Travis Salway and April Braun.
