It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dean of Celina, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Dean and Mildred Dean (Haynes); and his brothers, Ronald "Ron" Dean and Roger "Buzz" Dean. He is survived by: his wife Christine Dean (Brown); his daughters, Rebecca Cavanaugh (David) of Sister Bay and Kathy Higgins (John) of Celina; his grandchildren, Nathan Higgins (Andrea), Lauren Higgins and Jessica Lomakin (Matt); his great grandchildren, Henry, Holly Higgins, Harper and Taylor Lomakin; his brother Robert "Bob" Dean of Council Bluffs; and his siblings-in-law, Spencer Dunn, Sue Dean of Battle Creek and Marie Dean.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Cisco Funeral Home (6921 State Rte 703, Celina, OH 45822). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Council on Aging, 217 Riley St., Celina, Ohio 45822.
