She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dammeyer and Anna Dammeyer (Quellhorst); her husband Arlan Schmidt; her son-in-law Walter Rammel; and her siblings, Chester Dammeyer, Louis Dammeyer (Wanda) and Ruth Henschen (Willis).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rammel of Ft. Recovery, Mike Schmidt (Robin) of Celina, Peggy Scott of Bryant and Bruce Schmidt (Glenna) of Celina; her grandchildren, Kim Schmidt of Chillicothe, Brian Scott (Janet) of Ft. Wayne, Chris Schmidt (Shannon) of Celina, Corey Scott (Malisa) of Geneva, Bryce Schmidt of Celina, Darren Scott (Abigail) of Fishers and Brock Schmidt (Daijha Cheatom) of Lima; and her sister-in-law Joanna Dammeyer of St. Marys. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Country Church (1538 Oregon Rd, Rockford, OH 45882). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
