Marcella Hemmelgarn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella Hemmelgarn (Celina, Ohio), born in Sharpsburg, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 106. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcella Hemmelgarn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kaiser and Emma Kaiser (Huber); her children, Joanne Ford (Kenneth) and Ronald Hemmelgarn; her son-in-law Ivo Klenke; her grandchildren, Deborah Ford and Derek Hemmelgarn; her in-laws, Stella, Lawrence Broering, Lee, Alma Kaiser, Luetta, John Reichert, Edward, Dorthea Kaiser, Bernard, Mary Kaiser, Joseph, Adella Kaiser, Albert Kaiser, Richard, Eileen Kaiser, Rosella, Walter Hierholzer, Herbert, Rosemary Kaiser, Harold and Alma Hemmelgarn; and also, Joseph and Anna Hemmelgarn (Rammel).
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Virginia Klenke, Alice Hemmelgarn, Marjorie, Douglas Brookhart, Edward Hemmelgarn, Janice Hammond, Gerald, Cynthia Hemmelgarn (Overholt) and Joseph Hemmelgarn; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Tierney (Ronald Hemmelgarn). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the W. H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home (218 W Market St, Celina, OH 45822). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (409 N Walnut St, Celina, OH 45822).
Memorial Contributions may be given to: Immaculate Conception Church for general Parish purposes, The St. Vincent de Paul Society or EverHeart Hospice.
