He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert F. Grunden and Thelma Grunden (Shaner); his wife Cora Blackburn; his stepchildren, Ronald Gillum and Carolyn Croston; his siblings, Don Grunden (Madalyn), Jack Grunden (Ruby), Linda Marshall and Diane Miller (Charles); and his granddaughter Rhonda Henderson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherrie Henderson (Steve) of Crossville, TN; his stepchildren, Thomas Gillum of Michigan and Brenda Akins of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Brian Henderson (Zoa) of Spring City, TN, Cody Henderson (Ashely) of St. Marys, Jamie Tussing (Derek) of Celina, Eric Barnes of Chattanooga, TN, Travis Gillum (Cheri) of Bowling Green, Nicole Donovan of Celina, Kelly Watson (Jeff) of Celina, Jerry Croston of Ohio and Jim Croston (Tonya) of Ohio; his siblings, Joe Grunden (Sally) of Celina, Mike Grunden (Lou) of Celina and Kay Gibson of Celina; and his brother-in-law Gene Marshall of Celina. He is also survived by twenty seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home (901 Myers Rd, Celina, OH 45822). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
