David Bakan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Bakan of Celina, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bakan and Mary Jane Bakan; and his sister-in-law Marlene. He is survived by: his girlfriend Vicki Young; his children, Matt Bakan (Tamara) and Jacqueline Huelsman (Marc); his siblings, Karen VanZile (Rick), Jim and Steve Bakan (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Riley, Addison, Kenley, Grayson and Jackson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home (5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westbrock Funeral Home-Bigger Rd (5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45440). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1625 Calvary Dr, Dayton, OH 45409).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Ohio State James Cancer Center.
