He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Newell and Lois Newell (Calvert); his siblings, Vernon, Alvin, Lamar, Joyce Ann of Texas and Maxine; and his siblings-in-law, Hazel Hedgepeth, Roy Hedgepeth, David Perry, Bill Morneault and Charles Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Sprinkle of Jamestown; his daughters, Vicki (Paul Dunteman, Jr.) of Cincinnati and Kathie (Michael Taylor) of Beavercreek; his sister Wanda of Miamisburg; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Eavers of Xenia, Peggy Newell of Xenia and Susan Newell of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
