She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elvis Davis and Edith Davis (Ballinger); her siblings, Ruth, Virginia, Evelyn, Wahneta and Ronald; and her grandson David Root.
She is survived by: her sister Annabelle Masters; her children, Dennis Vaughn (Robin) and Linda Vaughn Baldemor; her grandchildren, Christie Vaughn Hall (Brian), Katy Young, Robbie Vaughn (Ann) and Daniel Root (Sheena); and her husband Carroll R. Vaughn.
