She was predeceased by: her father Karl Benson; and her brother Patrick Benson. She is survived by: her husband Randy Straw; her daughters, Rachael Knapp (Greg Bunger) of Circleville, Ann Vaughn (Robbie) of Cedarville, Randi Butcher (John) of Fairborn and Leslie "JoJo" Straw of Fairborn; her mother Patricia Benson of Xenia; her siblings, Sue McKinney (Lee) of Yellow Springs, Steve Benson (Marla) of Xenia and David Benson (Michelle) of Fairborn; and her grandchildren, Caleb Knapp, Addie Vaughn, Cameryn Knapp, Avery Vaughn, Cohen Bunger, Braxton Butcher, Easton Straw and Lincoln Butcher. She is also survived by numerous friends and other relatives.

Judy also enjoyed crafting and most importantly she loved being "Nana." In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the .
