He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilfred McDonald and Kathrine Gregg (McDonald); his sister Elaine Straley (McDonald); and his brother-in-law Tom Green. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia McDonald (DeRemer); his son James Ryan; his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Elizabeth; his daughters, Emily McDonald and Trisha Reichert (William); his grandchildren, Aidan, Kellen, McKinley and Tatum; and his sister Ann Green.
