She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Mason and Edna Mason (Jewell); her daughter Wanda Hicks; and her siblings, Richard Mason, Clyde Mason, Russell Schlegel, Nancy Morres and Glenna Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Peggie Shepherd (James) of Lima, Michael Smith (Becky) of Defiance, Brenda Stephens (Curt) of Ormond Beach, FL, William Steffes (Ann) of Cecil and MaryAnn Steffes of Defiance; and her siblings, Timothy Mason of Richlands, VA, Wanita Grant of Defiance, Jeri Rohrs (Bob) of Malinta and Naomi Eidenier (Douglas) of Aiken, SC. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
